Week 6 Weight Watchers Update
I didn't do very good this past week. It all started with making Easter baskets. Who was it that suggested I buy some quality chocolate to have on hand? Well I did that.
I bought an assorted pack of Lindt Lindor chocolates, and kept the dark chocolate ones for myself. They are six points for three pieces. Really that's not bad. I wanted to eat them at rate of two points per day.
We had company, I made goodies and cooked a big Easter dinner. The healthiest thing I ate all weekend was the California Chicken Salad from O'Charley's and that was so I could partake frozen yogurt at Sweet Frog.
See. I was keeping eating right in mind. I know in the past I could have done a lot worse.
I'm dreading stepping on the scale and sharing the results at the bottom of this post. But it is what it is, and it's gonna be what it's gonna be. I can't even say that I'll be great this coming week because Christopher is on Spring Break and we will be out of our normal routine.
So this week I want to tell you about this cool kitchen gadget. It's the Hamilton Beach Digital Steamer. I've been using it to steam veggies such as zucchini, potatoes, carrots, mushrooms etc. I absolutely love it. This weekend I found a new use for it.
I steamed the Easter eggs and they were done in 18 minutes. I usually lose a few eggs when boiling, but not with the steamer - none were cracked.
Week Six: Lost 0 lbs Total Loss: 6 lbs
Here's the thing... my body said, "Alright now. You got one more time to act up, and we gonna put somethin' on ya."
