Monday stream of consciousness...
I was laying in bed 45 minutes before my alarm was to go off saying, "Writing is like riding a bike." Me said, "Unt uh." Myself said, "You shouldn't have stopped."
I responded, "Oh shut up." So we got up and here we are with a brain dump.
Writing is like anything else you need to do (if it's your thing), you can't just stop. Now blogging is one thing, but then not writing is another. I didn't write a single thing all week and when I thought about something, I didn't jot it down or make time for it.
Before I get to the end of a book I am reading, I try to start another book. That way I am never without a book. If there's a break in between books, then I find if hard to start another one or make time for it. The same goes for exercising and eating right. If I take a break it's harder to get back to it.
Okay we're off of our soapbox now...
So anyway yesterday I knew it was time to write something when I was sitting in church looking at the cover of someone's bible thinking about my blog...
I said to Myself, "That would make a nice color palette for the blog." Me said, "Don't do it Kenya."
Thank goodness it was the end of service because I was stuck on memorizing the colors of that book cover and imagining where I would use what.
Changing the colors here is a way of procrastinating and sometimes it can be a little destructive. But I haven't stopped thinking about it.
I found the book on Amazon. Here is a screenshot of the "palette". ====>
Yay or Nay?
Here's the thing... If you stop by here one day and the site is password protected, that means we are under construction and have totally disregarded the naysayers.
