I had a bad dream...

Dear Tuesday,

I had a horrible dream last night. Something I don't even want to discuss out loud. I wonder how I can dream something so terrible. Fortunately my sleeping conscience finally said, "this can't be real" and woke me up. I was so relieved. It wasn't the kind of nightmare that wakes you up out of breath or crying and scared to fall asleep again. It was a nightmare that something had happened as a result of me doing something bad and I was trying to get away with it. It's like 10:16 am now and it's still lingering with my spirit. Thankfully I don't remember ever little detail and I'm hoping I forget the whole thing soon.

Some dreams I have had in the past were so good/bad that I was thinking I had been given the dream to write about - like fiction. But I never retained enough detail or had the discipline to write about it as while it was still fresh.

On a lighter note, I am excited because today MAY be the day that iOS8 will be released. Whenever the iPhone software is updated, it's like getting a new phone. So I'm all ready for it. My pictures have been transferred to my computer hard drive and I have plenty of room to install the update.

Last year I was refreshing my phone every minute at the rumored time for the update. Today if it's the same as last year I won't be home at that time. If you don't get to start updating immediately then it's going to take forever.

No way I can wait patiently for a couple weeks to let the "traffic" die down. So regardless of when the update is available I am going to download it, even if I have to leave my phone home and sit and watch football practice without phone entertainment.

Speaking of football practice, it was canceled yesterday for the first time this season because of the rain. We've been there and it ended because a storm came but this time we didn't even have to leave home. That felt pretty good. It was weird how I seem to get energy out of nowhere once I knew we didn't have to go.

I can't remember if I wrote about Saturday's game. Even though it was super hot, I enjoyed it a little and I'm starting to understand it "a little". Understanding enough that it's a boring game if they keep getting to a 4th down. Did I say that right? It's more excited to look at if they moved on the field.

Well this is all I've got Tuesday. The boss gave me an assignment.
